On July 22nd, we rented Peter Terrell's 15 passenger van and loaded up the 11 of us and the gear and headed for Maspac. I was joined by; Steve and Mary Haag and their son Ben, Pastor Tom Owensby, Pastor Jacobo Sanchez, Kaihla Stevens, and the youth from Colombus Baptist Asoc. (John Ray, Rebecca, Mary Katherin, and Andrew) We spent almost this entire trip in Maspac prayer walking, visiting the homes of folks we have already installed filters in, the youth team hosted a children's Bible school, we had evening Bible studies and we installed 1 new filter system. We wanted to present Bible films in the evenings but the electricity went out the day we arrived and didn't return reliably until after we left. Nevertheless we had a sucessful trip. One huge blessing was that Pastor Jacobo Sanchez will now be returning to work with the Zoque 8 days a month! This was made possible by one of the team members committing to support him with $300 every month for the next year! We are very excited about that. Thank you for your prayers... we really felt them.
